Atthis Arts is taking submissions for adult / adult (teen) / or all-ages (written for adults) novels only (at least 40,000 words), with preference to BIPOC authors, through 31 December 2025 (all time zones, just send it in December), for publication in Fall 2026.
Please be aware:
1) We are not interested in manuscripts for which machine generation / generative AI have been used in any part of the outlining, refining, writing, or editing process, and prior to any publication, the author will be required to sign a contract that certifies that they have not.
2) Our small press stands by our values. We have been under an attack, shadowban, and systematic deplatforming led by white men protecting their dominance in our genre spaces for multiple years now, and escalated by false accusations from the genre abuse ring. Our mentally disabled editor, E.D.E. Bell, will continue to discuss misogynoir, racism, whiteness, and exclusion in our genre spaces, and will not back down because of these attacks. Yes, this has impacted our sales also, though we are really hoping we’re close to turning things around, for good this time. We believe in our press, in these books, and in this community, and we will stick with this. But yeah, it’s been tough.
3) We are a very small press, and may only take one novel, depending on the situation.
If any of those things give you pause, we want you to be sure before submitting. We only want to work with authors who are fully excited to work with us. And yes, ask around.

- Short synopsis of your story (with spoilers)
- 300-500 word sample
- Links to your social media, blog, or online presence
- Anything you think it would help us to know, including what the work means to you and/or any viewpoints and experiences you want us to know that you represent
All submitting authors will be notified in early January. We’ll update this page when that is complete.
Good faith questions about what we might take, about the press, or about the process are welcome. Simultaneous submission is fine, but please let us know if your want to withdraw your book from consideration.
