What personal data we collect and why we collect it

As a general audience e-commerce site, Atthis Arts collects personal information for the purpose of billing and fulfilling your online purchases. This includes your email address, billing & shipping addresses, phone number. You may optionally request that you payment information be kept for future orders, in which case a payment token is stored so you can be identified by third-party payment processor (we do not keep or store your credit card number).

Comments

In general, we do not allow comments on our pages or posts. However, when visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Contact forms

We use a third party email service provider. If you provide your name, email, and email preferences and consent to be added to our email list, we will use this data to deliver emails regarding products or services we offer. We will not sell or otherwise provide our email list to anyone else. You may be removed from our email list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided in every email, or by contacting us as admin@atthisarts.com.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Who we share your data with

For the purposes of order fulfillment, we may share your personal information with third parties, including payment processors (Paypal, Stripe, Square, etc), delivery services (USPS, UPS, etc), and drop-shipment partners (Ingram, Amazon). Only the information needed to ensure the timely delivery of your purchase will be shared with any third party.

We will not sell, rent, or lease any customer data to third parties.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Completed online order information is kept for 3 years. Failed, abandoned, or cancelled orders are deleted after 7 days.

For customers that choose to register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. User profiles are kept indefinitely, though we may occasionally delete inactive accounts.

You may request your personal data be deleted at any time by contacting admin@atthisarts.com.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, placed an online order, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
